Dear Duchesne Community,
I hope this letter finds you well and enjoying a wonderful summer. I feel extremely honored and blessed to be the newly appointed president of my alma mater, Duchesne High School. I am excited to share my vision for our future with you.
Duchesne has a longstanding tradition of excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts. Our students are achieving great success in the classroom and demonstrating leadership and service within the broader community. This is a testament to the dedication and support of our talented faculty, staff, and, of course, our committed families and alumni.
As we embark on a new school year and our next 100 years, I am pleased to announce the launch of our 2024- 2025 Pioneer Fund campaign. The Pioneer Fund is crucial for the resources necessary to ensure that our students continue to receive the college-preparatory exceptional education experience in a safe, family-like Catholic environment that we so proudly provide. The Pioneer Fund directly supports initiatives that tuition alone cannot cover, including:
• Enhancing our academic programs with cutting-edge technology and innovative teaching methods.
• Expanding extracurricular opportunities in the arts, athletics, and clubs to foster well-rounded development.
• Providing professional development for our dedicated faculty to ensure they remain leaders in education.
• Offering financial aid to talented students who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend Duchesne High School.
• Ensuring that our Catholic school retreats continue to inspire, educate, and spiritually enrich our students.
