Scholarship & Financial Aid Opportunities
General Scholarships
Duchesne offers a variety of scholarship opportunities recognizing academic achievement, leadership, service, extracurricular involvement, family alumni connections, military and first responder families, and demonstrated financial need.
All students are encouraged to apply through the online scholarship application.
Academic Scholarships
Incoming freshmen and transfer students are automatically considered for academic scholarships based on:
- Fall 8th grade GPA (calculated using Reading, English, Science, Math, and Social Studies).
- Fall 8th grade standardized test scores.
Note: No separate application is required for academic scholarship consideration.
Tuition Assistance
Families seeking tuition assistance must complete the Blackbaud Financial Aid Management application.
Awards are based on demonstrated financial need and available funding. Students must reapply annually to be considered for assistance.
Work Study Program
Up to $1,000 Credit / SessionThe Duchesne Work Study Program allows students to earn tuition credit while gaining valuable work experience. Students work on campus during designated summer sessions and assist with a variety of school projects and campus needs.
Open to a limited number of students. Eligibility is based on demonstrated financial need on a first-come, first-served basis.

External Partner Programs
MoScholars
Provides scholarship funding for eligible Missouri students with an IEP, ISP, or other qualifying educational needs.
MoScholars notifies families of their award directly.
Today & Tomorrow Educational Foundation (TTEF)
Provides need-based scholarships to families throughout the St. Louis area and surrounding counties.
Families apply directly through TTEF to determine eligibility. TTEF notifies families of their award directly.

Can my student apply for scholarships, work study, and tuition assistance?
Yes. Students are encouraged to apply for all opportunities for which they may qualify. Scholarship awards, work study opportunities, and tuition assistance are reviewed separately.
Is there one application for multiple scholarship opportunities?
Yes. The Duchesne Scholarship Application is designed to match students with scholarship opportunities for which they may qualify.
Need-based scholarships, work study, and tuition assistance programs also require applicants to submit the Blackbaud Financial Need Assessment Form.
MoScholars and Today & Tomorrow Education Fund are awarded independently and require separate applications.
When will families be notified?
Families will be notified after scholarship review and award decisions have been finalized.
Can you tell me more about the work study program?
The Duchesne Work Study Program provides students with the opportunity to earn tuition credit while gaining valuable work experience. Participating students work off part of their tuition bill by working approximately 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday) from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (with a 15-minute morning break and 30 minutes for lunch). Payment for this work is applied directly to tuition without deductions.
Students work on campus during designated summer sessions. The 2027 summer work schedule is tentatively scheduled from Monday, June 7, through Thursday, July 1, 2027, and Tuesday, July 6, through Thursday, July 29, 2027. Students may be awarded a 4-week or 8-week plan, with a $1,000 tuition credit for each 4-week period worked. We are flexible and will work around vacations, camps, or tryouts, though scheduling limits may prevent replacing all missed hours.
