Duchesne Meets and Exceeds $5,000 Goal!

Duchesne High School students and faculty celebrated Mission Week from March 22 to March 27, participating in a series of themed dress days and community-building activities.

The week began Sunday, March 22, with a Color Run. The kickoff event also featured a BBQ, cornhole, shaved ice and a variety of baked goods. On Monday, the school held its Junior Ring ceremony and hosted adoptable puppies for students to visit during lunch.

Midweek activities shifted to themed attire and special treats. Tuesday was designated as a gray and black dress day, featuring "dirty sodas" for the student body. Wednesday included a Grandparents Rosary and a breakfast provided by Chris Cakes of St. Louis. Students dressed in pink and red for the occasion.

The celebration continued Thursday with students wearing green attire. Mission Week concluded Friday, March 27, with a school-wide pep rally. Students showed their school spirit by dressing in blue and white and enjoyed refreshments from Smoothie King.

When all the funds were added up, Duchesne had surpassed its $5,000 goal with a final total of $6,400.
