Sacraments and prayer are woven into everyday life at Duchesne because the way we pray to God reflects and encourages what we believe and ultimately how we live.
The office of Campus Ministry coordinates at least six all-school Masses throughout the year as well as two Reconciliation services. Further, Mass is celebrated at 7 a.m. each Friday in the Duchesne chapel for all who wish to attend. Eucharistic Adoration is offered at least twice a year during Advent and Lent.
Students are involved in all aspects of each liturgy, from set-up to music to readings and more. All members of the DHS community are invited to join us in the Ohrman Performing Arts Center.
Reconciliation services are held in the fall and the spring:
A special Baccalaureate Mass is held for graduating seniors:
Our students and their grandparents are invited to a special Mass and reception on Grandparents' Day: Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, St. Charles. Mass is at 8:30 followed by coffee and donuts.
