Becoming a Pioneer
√ Complete the Archdiocesan high school application (available in November)
√ Receive acceptance letter in February
√ Go to Freshman Registration Night on February 20, 2013
- Doors open at 6 p.m,; program starts at 7 p.m.
- Bring registration form (make sure I choose electives/world language)
- Pay $250 registration fee (payable to Duchesne)
- Pick up scholarship applications
- Order my Duchesne uniform polo (can only be purchased from Duchesne)
- Try on shirts because the sizes are unisex
- Turn in order by the deadline to avoid late fees
- Visit Fischer's reps about Uniform Skirt
- Visit the Trading Post
- Buy a hoody or sweatshirt (can only be purchased from Duchesne)
- Maybe buy a tee shirt or something to show my Pioneer Pride
√ Take placement test in the spring if I want to take Honors Geometry or Spanish 2 or French 2
√ Apply for scholarships by Wednesday, March 27, 2013 (click here to download scholarship applications)
√ Turn in Student Health Records Form by July 1, 2013 (forms found on the Duchesne website)
If I play a sport, turn-in the MHSAA Sport Physical Form and keep a copy for my records
- Check DHS Web site and newsletter for try-out dates and summer sport camp information
Look for my fall welcome packet in July
Return all important paperwork before school begins
Read a book from the summer reading list
