Athletics 101 - Duchesne Athletic Department Quick Reference Guide
Athletic Director:
(A.D.): Administrator of the Athletic Department – Paul Boschert
Blanchette Park:
Home field of the Boys Baseball games and practices.
Duchesne Athletic Boosters (DAB or Boosters):
Parent-driven fund-raising organization that supplements the overall Athletic budget.
Eagle Springs Golf Course:
Home golf course for Girls Golf team.
Missouri Bluffs Golf Course:
Home golf course for Boys Golf team.
Drug and Alcohol Policy:
Written athlete contract that must be signed by athletes and parents.
Football Lottery:
Fundraiser for DAB. Tickets are $20 each. It is suggested that each athlete sell 5.
AAA Conference:
Archdiocese Athletic Association. Large School Division: Duchesne, St. Dominic, St. Francis Borgia, St. Mary's, Notre Dame, Rosati Kain Small School Division: Trinity Catholic, Bishop DuBourg, Cardinal Ritter, Lutheran St. Charles, O'Fallon Christian
Jaycee Park:
Practice park for Cross Country Located on Elm Street across from Duchesne.
Mueller Park:
Practice field for Boys and Girls Soccer teams.
MSHSAA:
Missouri State High School Activities Association – governing body of Missouri sports/activities.
MSHSAA Physical Form:
Every athlete must have this on file. Must be turned in to the Main Office before try outs.
McNair Park:
Home field of the girls Softball games and practices. Practice field for Freshmen baseball.
Student ID:
ID is required for free entry to most sporting events.
Summer Athletic Camps:
Directed by DHS coaches and staff. Visit DHS website for camp dates.
Team T-shirts, hoodies, warm-ups, etc.:
Artwork must receive approval from the Dean of Student Services and purchased through the Trading Post.
Trading Post:
Headquarters for Duchesne Spirit Wear.
Uniforms:
Distributed by coaches. Team apparel is game gear; it is not personal gear!
All-Student Fitness Center:
Located on the gym mezzanine. Open hours for students are 3:00 pm till 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday. Most coaches have an off-season fitness program for athletes.
