Mass and Adopt-a-family

The day will begin at 8:00 AM. Students will go directly to their homerooms to finish wrapping gifts and to prepare for the mass. During this time, parents are invited to join us for coffee and donuts in the Cafeteria.

At 8:40 AM, we will begin our final all-school mass of the semester. Fr. Michael Grosch from All Saints Parish will be the celebrant. P arents are invited to join us to celebrate the Advent season, our Adopt-a-Family service project, and the end to a great semester.

At the mass, student coordinators and drivers for Adopt-a-Family will receive a special blessing. At the end of mass, at 10:00 AM, all students will be dismissed to either go home or deliver gifts.

Tuesday's mass is a dress up mass to celebrate the festive day. Please make sure your student is wearing clothing appropriate to the splendor and sanctity of the mass. This means that dresses should not be shorter than school skirts and no plunging necklines. Please encourage your daughter to bring a pair of flats for before and after mass if she chooses to wear heals. For young men, the appropriate attire is a shirt and tie, dress pants, and dress shoes.

For tho se students who will be delivering gifts, they may bring a change of casual clothes.

Parents - since there are no classes the day of the mass, we know your student(s) may be tempted to skip that day. PLEASE - this day is special as we celebrate as a school community the coming of Christmas, our school service project, and another semester at Duchesne. Please ensure that your student attends.
