Eucharistic Procession
Each year on November 18th, we celebrate the feast of our patroness and namesake, St. Rose Philippine Duchesne. This year, we amped up the celebration with a Eucharistic procession through the streets of St. Charles. The procession ended at the Academy of the Sacred Heart, where we celebrated an all-school Mass in conjunction with their student body.
It was a great way to celebrate a Saint who is so important to both our schools, the community of St. Charles, and our Archdiocese. Fr. Paul Hoesing, the Dean of Seminarians at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, led the 1.5 mile procession and celebrated the Mass. A special thank-you to Fr. Paul, the faculty and students at the Academy, and the parishes of St. Charles Borromeo and St. Peter for helping to make this special day come together.
