Connor Freeman Nominated for MO Scholar Academy
Duchesne High School is pleased to announce that sophomore Connor Freeman is the 2016 nominee for the Missouri Scholars Academy.
Missouri Scholars Academy is a three-week academic program for gifted students in the state of Missouri. The Academy is a residential program on the campus of the University of Missouri – Columbia.
The program is designed to give gifted students special opportunities for learning and personal development in order to realize their full potential. With a select faculty, a specially designed curriculum and interesting extracurricular activities, students become part of a unique learning community. Students from all school districts and private schools statewide participate, exchanging ideas and learning approaches to develop individual talents.
If selected, Connor will be one of approximately 330 students selected for ability and potential leadership development.
