About DHS  Mission & Vision History Tuition & Fees Frequently Asked Questions
Duchesne High School is a college preparatory educational institution sponsored by the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Duchesne does not receive public financial support. Instead, Duchesne's educational mission is supported by the payment of tuition by the families of our students, by annual fund-raising events and by the generosity of our many benefactors. Duchesne strives to keep its tuition affordable for all.

Tuition and registration are set on a yearly basis. The tuition and fees for the 2008-2009 school year are as follows:

  Tuition Registration Fees Total
Senior $6,745 $300 $7,045
1st Child (underclassman) $6,745 $250 $6,995
2nd Child (underclassman) $6,245 $250 $6,495
3rd Child (underclassman) -0- $250 $250

**Additionally, there is an Archdiocesan-mandated $500 fee for non-Catholic students.
A Catholic student currently attending a public school must have a copy of their baptismal record.

The $250 fee helps defer the cost of registration, as well as textbooks and lab expenses. It is due at the time of registration.

The tuition for the upcoming school year is established by the Duchesne Advisory Board each spring.

You may pay tuition using on of three options:
1) Pay in full to Duchesne by Aug. 14, 2008 (This will save you the $38 FACTS* account set-up fee(s) and will entitle you to two tickets to the 2009 Foresight dinner auction scheduled for April 25 ($150 value). Limit two tickets per family.
2) Pay tuition in quarterly installments to FACTS* through an automatic electronic funds transfer
(account enrollment and set-up fees apply).
3) Pay tuition in 10 monthly installments to FACTS* through automatic electronic funds transfer (account enrollment and set-up fees apply). The payment will be withdrawn on either the 5th or the 20th of each month (whichever date you selected on the enrollment form) beginning in August.

*FACTS is a tuition management plan that allows you to pay tuition through deductions from the bank account you designate on the enrollment form. A setup fee is charged, and late fees can be assessed.
