Welcome to our "virtual" Duchesne High School community. Please explore the Web site and discover all of the wonderful opportunities our school has to offer. Duchesne's mission is to educate our young men and women in mind, body, and spirit as one.
Academically, Duchesne offers more than 125 different courses. Students are able to tailor their course schedules according to personal interests while receiving a rigorous college preparatory education. DHS also offers 67 hours of advanced college credit through Saint Louis University and the University of Missouri - St. Louis. In addition, our dedicated faculty and small class sizes create an atmosphere where all students are encouraged to achieve their academic potential.
With more than 40 sports and student organizations, it's easy for Duchesne students to become involved in our community! Pioneers can choose from extra-curricular activities, ranging from championship athletics to service organizations and performing arts to newspaper and yearbook. With so many options, each student is able to find the perfect niche to explore his or her gifts and talents.
We strive to incorporate our Catholic faith into all aspects of our school community. Our spirituality comes to life through our all-school liturgies, prayer services, class retreats and special projects like Adopt-a-Family and Heifer International. Students are encouraged to share in the pioneering spirit of our patroness, St. Rose Philippine Duchesne, by giving selfless Christian service to the greater community.
