Often a high school focuses on the opportunities for students. Perhaps that’s justified.  But, the four years of a DHS student’s high school career provide wonderful opportunities for Pioneer parents, too.

·         Opportunities to stay involved in the life of your adolescent (even as he/she is growing more independent).

·         Opportunities to meet other DHS families, and to work together to help the school and its students. 

·         Opportunities to be part of a very special community:  the Duchesne family.

A few years back, sociologists wanted to know why Catholic school students showed higher academic achievement with a lower cost per student than other schools.  They determined that the key element was parental involvement.  Our students benefit when parents are involved!  (But, you already knew that, didn’t you?)
