Adopt-A-Family
One of the ways we celebrate the Christmas season at Duchesne is our Adopt-a-Family project. This marked our 27th year or participation in the program. During the weeks of Advent, our homerooms and organizations collected Christmas gifts, holiday meal ingredients and household necessities for 28 local families through the Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service. We blessed the gifts at our Adopt-a-Family Mass on Dec. 19, and students delivered them to the recipient families later that morning.
Thank you to all the members of the Duchesne community who participated in this year's Adopt-a-Family project! We also appreciate the weeks of hard work our student coordinators dedicated to sharing God's good news and making Christmas a more joyful season for those in need.
