Duchesne High School’s Core Values
To Be Articulated By Parents, Students, Faculty and Alumni

A steering committee, consisting of students, parents, alumni, and faculty members, has begun work on
selecting and defining values that describe the Duchesne High School culture (or desired culture). Focus groups will weigh in with their opinions and ideas during April and May. Ultimately, the selected core values will guide how all members of the school community work, play and relate with one another.

Focus groups will be invited to weigh in on the proposed values.  The previous selected dates have been postponed. New dates will be announced soon.

Ca$h for Tra$h

Duchesne has found a company that will pay cash for empty inkjet printer cartridges and old cell phones.  The company recycles these items and sells them at a discounted price to their customers.  Cash for Trash is safe, simple and guaranteed way to raise funds for the school. The program will also eliminate trash in our landfill and make a huge impact on our environment.  Here's how it works:

  • Inkjet cartridges and old cell phones can be collected from homes, parents' work places, co-workers and local businesses.
  • Collected cartridges and phones can be brought to the collection boxes located in the Duchesne library and the gymnasium lobby.
  • Cartridges and phones are shipped to our recycling company at no cost to Duchesne.
  • Our school earns $2.25 per inkjet cartridge or cell phone accepted.
  • They will not accept Epson cartridges.
  • All cartridges need to be placed in a plastic bag (e.g, Ziploc).
