Duchesne High
School offers a variety of publications for our students, parents,
alums and prospective students and parents to enjoy. The student newspaper, The Pioneer, is produced by Duchesne students. The students are responsible for the copy, photos, page layout, editing and the advertising. Mr. Dominic D'Urso is the moderator of The Pioneer. Cor Duchesne, the Duchesne yearbook, is put together by the yearbook class. Students select a theme for each year, and then design the graphics, layout and story ideas to fit within the theme. They are responsible for the entire publication from concept through publication and sales. The book is primarily a picture book with the goal of recording the history and memories of the school year. The book strives to be fair and complete in coverage. Mrs. Linda Anthony is the the moderator of the yearbook. The Leaves is a publication for Duchesne alumni, parents, and benefactors. The Leaves contains past and current student feature stories, alumni news, class reunion information, special event information and more. The Leaves is produced three times a year by the Office of Advancement. The Parent Newsletter is produced every month except for June. This publication is sent home to parents of current Duchesne students. The newsletter contains important school deadlines, letters from the administrator and the dean of students, student and teacher recognition and more. The Parent Newsletter is also produced by the Office of Advancement. The
Duchesne Spotlight is a newsletter that is sent to the
following grade schools: St. Cletus,
St. Charles Borromeo, St. Peter, Academy of the Sacred Heart, St.
Elizabeth/St. Robert, Sts. Joachim & Ann, All Saints, St. Joseph-Cottleville
and Holy Spirit. The publication, produced by
the Office of Community Relations and Development, contains sports season
overviews, extracurricular activities, student feature stories and
more. The newsletter informs future students about all of the
opportunities that are available at Duchesne. If your child is not
a member of the feeder parishes, please e-mail |
