Girls Soccer Team Receives Recognition

The following DHS girls soccer players made All-State:

Allison Hu ‘09 - Class 1 Player of the Year, All-State First Team Forward and All-Metro First Team Defender

Alli Reimer ‘09 - All-State First Team Midfielder and All-Metro Second Team Midfielder

2008-09 Improv Troupe Members

In late spring, the members of the 2008-09 Improv Troupe were selected. Please congratulate the following students: Seniors Kevin McInerney (leader), Shannon Lampkin, Ryan Eversole, Melissa DeCosty, De Hollandsworth, Johnny Pipitone and Jim Pruett; juniors Sydney Bugler and Andrew Biehle; and sophomores Sam Rupp, Michelle Hindle, and Michael Gould.
 


DHS Baseball Players Named to All-Conference

Sam Meyer ‘08, Tim Flaker ‘08 and Mike Hollander ‘09 were named to the GAC North all-conference first team in baseball.
 


Orf Completes Another Great Golf Season

Luke Orf ‘09 finished second in the state competition and was one of five players named to the All-Metro team. Way to go Luke!


Amiri and Merkle Take Third in State

Paul Amiri ‘08 and Zach Merkle ‘08 finished third in the men’s doubles at the state tennis championship.

Lampkin and Bucher Compete at State Music Festival

Shannon Lampkin and Malia Bucher represented Duchesne in the 57th Annual MSHSAA State Music Festival on April 26, at the University of Missouri – Columbia.  Shannon and Malia qualified for this competition by earning a  "superior" rating at the district level festival for their solo performances.  Shannon earned a "superior" and Malia earned an "excellent" at State.
