WHO ARE WE?
The Duchesne
Athletic Boosters (DAB) is a group of parents and friends who support
DHS athletes, from all sports, for all seasons. DHS friends, parents,
alums, and alumni parents are invited to join us in the challenge of
raising ½ of the DHS athletic budget on an annual basis. This year,
that means $60,000 will come from the DAB. DHS has no athletic fees,
but tuition doesn’t cover the expenses for our athletic programs, so the
efforts of the DAB are critical to the success of our school’s sports
programs. With your help, we can do what’s needed and have fun doing
it.

LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
This continues to be an exciting time at Duchesne. The school is
underway in the new capital campaign to keep Duchesne positioned as a
leader in the area. The Boosters are part of this excitement.
OUR KICK OFF MEETING:
Thank you all who attended our August 21st kick-off meeting. Also, thank
you to Coach Elmendorf for allowing us to tie into his soap game; to Dan
Plackemeier and his BBQ crew; and Kim Barrow and Summit Distributing.
NEXT MEETING:
We hope to again have our winter sports meeting in conjunction with the
men’s and women’s basketball scrimmage. We will confirm the date and
time with the coaches. See this page for details as they come in.
FOOTBALL LOTTERY:
We need your help to meet our obligation to contribute $60,000, one-half
of the total Duchesne athletic budget. We have utilized sales of a
professional football lottery. If your son or daughter participates in a
sport, the DAB pays for ½ of their team costs, such as uniforms,
equipment, travel, etc. Please support our student athletes through this
fundraiser.
MEMBERSHIP:
By joining the Boosters you receive the satisfaction of supporting our
student athletes, as well as the Booster rewards. These include free
admission to a number of athletic events and exclusive Booster attire.
